This tool allows the combustion chamber/cylinder to be filled with compressed air, keeping the valves closed while the valve springs are replaced. Place the cylinder you are working on at the top dead center, thread the tool into the spark plug hole, and fill the cylinder with compressed air. When replacing the spring, maintain air pressure in the cylinder.
